As much as we love the personal touch here at My Mortgage, with technology being the way it is these days (and in the new Covid-19 scenario of course!) we have a lot of our conversations with clients over the phone or email. Most of you will have met Adam but we've got a small team here dedicated to making great things happen and often they're beavering away behind the scenes.

Over the next month or so we're going to get some profiles up so you can learn some more about the amazing little team we have here.

Claire Williamson!

Claire has been with the team since late 2015 and is a Shareholder of My Mortgage, Mortgage Adviser and Registered Financial Adviser. Claire's background has been in Sports Management and Accounting having most recently spent 3 years as the Manager of the Cambridge Racquets Club, with previous roles in accounting firms and a degree in Sports and Leisure, alongside French, at Waikato University.

A very keen sportsperson, she travelled to France in 2015 with her partner and undertook a 2000km cycle journey across the country, and then completed Cycle for Sight In 2017/18, a cycling trip from Cape Reinga to Wellington. She can be found at weekends in her vegetable garden, at squash tournaments, or cooking up a storm in the kitchen.

She recently built her own home in Whitehall, near Cambridge, and loves living rurally, having grown up on a farm on the West Coast near Kawhia.

Claire is our passionate first home home expert and is focused in this space across the Waikato, as well as helping many investors, new builds and second home buyers. She’s the guru in everything First Home Loan, Kiwisaver and lower deposits and has many tricks to get you into your first home sooner than you think!

For those of you who have had the pleasure of working with Claire to date you will note that she's very approachable and always happy to help whenever she can. She's great at problem solving and works really hard to get the best deal for her clients plus with her caring nature she always takes the time to make sure everyone understands the process and how to get the best out of their home loan.
